Me, in quiet verses

I'm a book in one hand, music in the air,

Netflix nights and silence I love to share.

Water calls me - beach, river, pond -

When I sit under the open sky alone,

I wade in peace where worries are gone.

Some days it's just me and the trees,

some days my son's laugh on the breeze,

some days friends, warm and near,

a circle of stories, coffee, and cheer.

And somedays I'm so thankful to have you all here.

I'm the one who stays when no one else does,

tending to hearts with no applause.

Workshops with children light me up,

talking rights, healing, filling each cup.

For women, for minds, for the ones unseen -

that's where I feel most me, most keen.

A good listener, a silent fighter.

Stubborn when I must, steady and brighter.

I crave the calm, the stable ground,

and in helping others, my energy's found.

Few lines are not enough to know me,

If anyone wants, lets sit over a cup of coffee.
